Geoffrey Hosford, a director and biomechanist with Accident Analysis, is a graduate of Loughborough University, U.K., and the University of Western Australia. He has lectured in human movement and biomechanics at Deakin University and RMIT University, Melbourne, in the School of Medical Sciences.
Don Meikle, a director and applied anatomist with Accident Analysis, is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and the University of Alberta, Canada. He has lectured in applied anatomy at Deakin University and the Australian Catholic University, Melbourne, in the School of Exercise Science.

Accident Analysis was founded in 1996 in response to a demand from the corporate sector for expert scientific research and application in slip and fall accident appraisal and analysis. We are retained by attorneys for cases involving personal injury particularly staircase and railing falls. Our expertise is in the field of applied anatomy and biomechanics with relation to forces, motions and the effects on anatomical structures, functions and systems. We use state-of-the-art methods specialising in laboratory reconstruction and accompanying in-situ computer bioanimation.

The two principals, Don Meikle and Geoffrey Hosford, have each had long standing involvement in the university sector in anatomy and biomechanics. The application of these disciplines in the human movement sciences in conjunction with considerable experience in elite sport at the international level has afforded them a comprehensive understanding of movement, both volitional and imposed.

Accident Analysis has successfully represented clients Australia-wide, in forums ranging from Sport Tribunals to Supreme Court.
